ONEIRIC CHARDONNAY 2013

from ZAR 290.00

The golden yellow of the Chalcopyrite, a copper sulphide ore, sets off the warm glow of the Oneiric Chardonnay.

The cool climate region of Elgin is perfect for growing Chardonnay. The grape varietal is known for it’s natural acidity and ageing potential.

The 2013 is a Burgundian at heart, this chardonnay boasts beautiful lime, turkish delight, crème brûlée and a light citrus pith. Delicious nuttiness and aromas of butterscotch and fine oak.

Steely minerality indicative of the terroir, with 10 months in 100% New French oak.

This is without doubt the cream of the crop.. an outstanding wine for the true Chardonnay devotee.
